With any surgery there is a feeling of nervousness, but I was put at ease from the moment I hit the door up until the time I was done. This was one of the best things I’ve done for myself. I had worn glasses or contacts since the 5th grade. I’m now 37 and the freedom is great.

My surgery went super. I had an accident and had damage to my right eye after surgery. Dr. Parent had to operate on me a second time to fix the flap on my eye. He did a great job on both of my surgeries.

It was much better than I expected. I basically woke up and could see. My eyes were a bit dry, but I expected they would be much worse. The only discomfort was dry eyes, which is at the same level I had when I had contacts in. This is the best investment I have ever made. I’ve had glasses or contacts for 26 years. This is amazing, at my 24-hour post-op my vision, which was very bad before, is now 20/20. I see so much that I was missing before. I had a very slight headache. It was better than what I expected. I’m not one to have someone mess with my eyes, but everyone there made me feel comfortable. I thought that there would be more pain during the surgery, and a day or two following but there was not any major pain. I would refer anyone who is thinking of getting LASIK to Dr. Parent. The nurses and staff were great! I have and still will recommend anyone to them. I had a wonderful experience.

The 24- hour recovery period was even better than expected! Each person in the surgical area was like my private nurse. They go through the steps thousands of times, but they treated me as if I was the only one there with their skills, calmness, and exactness of care. With all of the exams and procedures done before, during and after each eye surgery, everyone throughout the office and surgical center that I came into contact with was the BEST. I got the best information and TLC that a person could ever have hoped for.

I had very minimal discomfort. Dr. Parent and his entire staff are so caring.
